Cinderella Ksebati

A versatile performer, content creator, and educator, Ksebati passionately shares her love for classical, musical theater, and jazz music through both online and in-person platforms. Recently, she was named to the Arab America Foundation’s 30 Under 30, a national recognition honoring rising leaders making an impact across arts, education, and culture.

ONLINE COMMUNITY
Ksebati founded Sing with Cinderella, an online music education program on YouTube, in 2020. Since then, it has grown into a global community of over 9.8 million viewers, with a library of 400+ videos designed to help singers and musicians unlock their full potential.

Expanding on this mission, she created Ace the Audition, an in-depth online course designed to equip singers with the skills and strategies needed to audition successfully. This program offers structured guidance to help performers refine their technique, build confidence, and stand out in competitive settings.

She is also a published creator on Amazon, offering two practical tools for singers. The journals help musicians create structured plans, turning small, intentional steps into meaningful progress based on the “Practice. Progress. Perform.” philosophy. The companion manuscript, designed by a musician for musicians, provides space to stay organized and inspired.

IN-PERSON PROGRAM & GUEST WORK
Ksebati runs one of Michigan’s premier year-long vocal training programs for high school singers, offering a curated experience of one-on-one lessons, workshops, and performances. In addition to leading her own program, she is a sought-after guest music director and vocal clinician across the state. Nationally, Ksebati has served as an adjudicator the Great American Songbook Foundation. Her dual background in K–12 music education and performance allows her to guide students with both artistic depth and educational expertise.

PERFORMANCE:
Ksebati has had the opportunity to perform at prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center, with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and as a soloist in Argentina. She has also been featured as a choral soloist including Vivaldi’s Gloria in Detroit, and with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra in All Rise. Her accolades include recognition as a MET Competition district competitor, American Pops Orchestra finalist, John Knapp Friends of Opera Encouragement Winner, First Prize George Shirley Competition winner, NATS National Finalist, and Songbook Academy finalist, where Michael Feinstein praised her “velvet” jazz tone. In 2023, she brought her expertise to the Great American Songbook Academy, providing feedback to over 100 high school students nationwide as a screening team member.

Performance Highlights: Gianni Schicchi (Lauretta), The Cunning Little Vixen (Chokolka), Sundown Towns, Higher Ground, Baby Shower, Candide, Die Fledermaus, Diseducated (premiere).

In 2024, she debuted Middle Eastern Perspective, a self-produced educational recital exploring three distinct lenses through which the Middle East has been represented in vocal music: European classical exoticism, American musical theater, and authentic Arabic art song. The program featured both historical repertoire and newly arranged works, including a classical art song setting of “Aatini al-Naya wa Ghanni,” and was supported by grants from Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Arts at Michigan.

EDUCATION:
Ksebati holds dual degrees in Vocal Performance and Choral Music Education and a Master’s in Music from the University of Michigan. She has received additional training from Shenandoah Conservatory’s Contemporary Commercial Music Institute and is a member of NATS.
